Reports of the end of the legend of LeBron James just got a little bit louder after an American basketball fan was spotted at a Lakers game.
The Miami native, Matthew Faucette, appeared at Monday’s game against the Boston Celtics wearing a Jordan-esque All-Star outfit – a Lakers ball, Lakers cap and a combination of jerseys and shorts.
“There are a few surprises coming next,” said social media fan Faucette before the game.
Two of the jerseys were Lakers and the other was Miami, Faucette’s other team before he and his family moved to Los Angeles. The real James doesn’t play for Los Angeles, he plays for Cleveland, which is who he’ll play for this season after he arrived there earlier this year.
Faucette is not the first, nor the first, to wear look-alike costumes to sporting events.
Last December, James was photographed in a similar get-up watching an NBA game. Shortly after, Twitter exploded with memes for “LeBron is over.”
Fans have been regularly posting photographs of themselves impersonating James online, most recently at the Golden State Warriors game when singer Usher got a lot of attention after he donned his “King” look-alike outfit.
For most of us, it’s probably the best look of all time.
