Build ready sign? Live shots from the construction site on the Czech campus of Yale University

Situated next to an intersection with no traffic lights, it has often been used as a meeting place by students coming back to campus, or as a way to check the progress of their building.

This public space was recently used as a press office for construction workers not only by the BBC World Service but also by a number of international news agencies including the BBC, Al Jazeera, Reuters, and Agence France-Presse.

Despite being built just five months ago, one of the signposts still reads ‘build ready’ from the student apartment blocks.

Despite having no electricity to power the cable, the school says that work on the signpost itself would have to be completed before electricity can be installed.
